How EZ Plumbing Works

EZ Plumbing is a referral service. We are not a plumbing contractor. This page explains exactly what happens when you call, how we make money, and what we are not.

What happens when you call

You describe the problem and give a ZIP code. We match it to an independent licensed plumbing company that covers that area and handles that kind of work, and connect you. From that point the job is between you and them: they quote it, they schedule it, they do it, and they carry the licence and the insurance.

How we make money

The plumbing company pays us a referral fee for the connection. You do not pay us anything, and the fee does not change what you are quoted. If a company ever tells you their price went up because of us, tell us and we will stop routing to them.

What we are not

We are not a licensed plumbing contractor. We do not have a shop, a truck or a technician in any city. We do not guarantee the work, we do not set the price, and we do not hold the licence. Anyone claiming otherwise on our behalf is wrong, and we would rather say this plainly than let you find out at the door.

Verify the contractor yourself

Every state has a licensing board with a free public lookup. Ask the company for their licence number and check it. Ask whether they carry liability insurance. A contractor worth hiring will not be offended by either question, and one who is offended has answered it.

If something goes wrong

Your contract is with the plumbing company, so start with them. Tell us too. We drop companies from the network over pattern complaints, and we would rather hear it than keep sending people to a company that is not doing right by them.
